Husband and I both like Leo for our first baby. Don’t know any but we have very limited exposure to children. Have now seen its number 3 out of 100 top baby names!!! For people with new babies, young kids in nursery or school… how many Leo’s are you coming across?

@BoleynMemories13 I think you are not understanding what many of us are saying:
Being popular or fashionable simply means following current trends. Names, just like clothes, follow fashion trends. Anything that’s fashionable will inevitably fall out of fashion as people get bored from overuse.

Names that were fashionable in the 1970s like Gary or Tracey aren’t necessarily ‘lovely’. Neither are the current fashionable names like Theo or Leo.

I personally prefer more classic underused names that are never really in fashion.

If you like Leo then that's the one you go with.

It's far too random to avoid names because there "might" be another kid called that in their class - and it wouldn't matter anyway.

My friends have recently started having babies, we know about 12 babies total and 4 are called Leo (they don’t know each other).
