Has anyone used one child’s middle name as another’s first?

Anyone else’s second child have one of their first child’s middle names as their first?

Yes! My older son has my youngest son’s first names as his middle name, so for example Elliot - Jake, and Jake - Justin. That’s not their names but you get the idea.

My DH and his XW did this with their sons. It's not an issue, each individual child has a very ordinary name combination.

I know someone who did this. Opposite sexes though. Example: child #1 Samuel Justin. Child #2: Justine Sarah.

I know 2 sisters like this. Not real names but Jane Anne and Anne Louise.

There was a thread about this quite recently.

My dad's younger brother had my dad's second name as his first name. Like Louis in the RF, it was a family name.

Not me, but some friends I grew up with.

DD1 was Catherine Jane
DD2 was Jane Louise (not real names)

And one of Prince George's middle names is Louis
