Henry is the only one I would consider

Same, I like Henry best. It has a different feel from your other names here.

Every Archie I have known has been obnoxious and that sentiment has been expressed by many on a number of threads.

Kiwiburgh · 14/07/2026 22:20

All lovely names but my favourite is Fraser

SharkEatsDonkeyTails · 13/07/2026 21:49

Lewis

How many threads is it now, @Namesnamesnames13 ? I thought you'd called your baby Henry.

Exactly what I was going to say.
Hope you are ok @Namesnamesnames13

Oh I thought you were saying my post was a duplicate
No, mine was.

No, but the names seem to vary a lot. A Leo and a Lewis/Louis seems too twee.

Fraser is the only one I like at all on that list.

Same here!

MN seemed to crash when I posted earlier. I had no idea that I'd posted it twice already.

Yes I know. I also prefer the loo-ee pronunciation. But Lewis is a related name, that's why I mentioned Louis.

Archie - don't like it at all
Callum - like but with one l
Finley - ok but seems a bit wet
Fraser - ok but not keen on Frase. People saying Frasier would be annoying

Henry- ok, prefer Harry. It stands out because it's more of a classic than the others.
Lewis - ok but was very popular when Lewis Hamilton was big news. Seems a bit nothingy. I prefer Louis

Fraser I just think of the TV programme. What tv programme is that?

Frasier - Note the spelling.

Nottodaty · 13/07/2026 09:41

If I had a boy I always wanted a Finley.

I know they different sounding names but as someone else has said I prefer Louis to Lewis. (Even though I know a lovely Lewis just not a fan of the name!)

I know a fair few Callum’s seems to be quite a popular name still. Not many Henry’s. Fraser I just think of the TV programme.

Finley (although it's been very popular for a while), is the best name on the list imo. Then Lewis (although Louis is nicer), then Callum.

Fraser seems a bit dated still, Henry is a bit stuffy (but Harry would be nice), and Archie is too cutesy.

Louis is a different name - loo-ee
Lewis is loo-iss

Hellohelga · 13/07/2026 09:33

Lewis and Finley
Fraser if you are Scottish

Namiemcnameface · 13/07/2026 09:32

Callum and Lewis

Same

Dontgetstuckinthepast · 13/07/2026 09:27

Lewis.
I think the others are overused. I don't think Lewis has been as popular.
