What do you think of the name Casey? What is the overall vibe of the name? Before you met a Casey, would you assume them to be a man or a woman?

I know one of each. Not sure if I like it for either though.

I know one Casey and she's a woman

I've only met men called Casey and they were all American

DeeNiall · 24/06/2026 15:09

It's a surname. I know male ones and female ones but I don't think it sounds classy.

Myswweetchild · 24/06/2026 15:09

I think unisex. I've taught both boys and girls called Casey.
I don't like it.

I'd assume woman first, only because I've known a female Casey my whole life, so I associate it with her. But I do love the name on boys too, I do think it's definitely unisex.

A man. Specifically I would think of a man who has been in Love Island too many times.

I would assume man — I thought it was a boy’s name.
