Julian Fawcett from Ghosts - a posh Tory MP who died in a scandal and doomed to spend all of eternity as a trouserless poltergeist. He’s my favourite character 😂

Same.

Needs a strong surname to balance the very girly, feminine sound of it IMO.

Someone mentioned Jeremy and I think that a much better name to have a comeback than Julian.

GingerBeverage · 14/06/2026 12:19

Well I think it may become more popular since there are 4 Beatles films in the works and Julian will have to feature.

I have a Julian who is now 30. Managed to get through a pretty tough inner city school and now as a manual tradesperson without any issues. He likes his name, thinks it’s unusual but likes it all the more for that.

GladHazelPoster · 14/06/2026 11:51

Go for Patrick or Jarlath instead.

A cat of great dignity. A handsome, sturdy, black and white cat. My friend's cat was Julian.

LBFseBrom · 08/06/2026 05:17

Pleasant name, Jules for short. I knew Julians when young, don't hear it now but think it is due a comeback.

Southern English, boring - don't like it for a man - not good connotations

Julian of Norwich - good connotations

Becuriousnotjudgemental1980 · 07/06/2026 22:44

80s business man. Or the politician guy with no trousers on Ghosts.

Marcipex · 07/06/2026 22:34
