Our previous choice, Graham (DH's deceased father's name), has been pretty much blown out of the water, so we have moved on to Wynn. (which is DH's middle name, after an old friend of the family.)

Is this name acceptable?

Reckon it is a familiar enough sound with all the Finn's running around out there, but anything I'm missing?

We may actually go with Graham Wynn, but would then use Wynn.

Oh for a boy? I like it. I was all set to beg you to consider Olwen instead. But Wynn for a boy, yes I like it.

I love Wynn... DH and I got married at THe WYnn last year and DS was conceived there...

Decided against it, but love the name...

Never heard of the name Wynn. But nice sound, no connotations.

Doesn't sound like a first name to me (more a middle name aka Dianna Wynne Jones) but then I like Graham! To me Graham Wynn looks excellent

I'm thinking of Win Butler from Arcade Fire, think it's short for Edwin though...

that name is not unusual where I am from, but normally spelt Wyn for boys

Makes me think of the snoot hotel in Vegas that will not allow pushchairs (named after its Donald Trump-esque developer).
But rather nice otherwise (and better than Graham I would say... sorry)

love it - know 2 men called Wynn and no-one has ever taken the mickey or anything. In fact I considred it for my dsses but doesn't go with our surname.

and as somebody with a middle name that was used as my first name - just want to say - it drove/drives me nuts.

yes! reminds me of wynn strafford in kitty foyle (weepy film with ginger rogers)
