Libra was quite popular for girls in South-East Scotland in the 16th and 17th centuries. Most commonly spelt Lybra, so possibly pronounced Lie-bra. Other spellings suggest it was pronounced Lee-bra. It's not clear if it was directly related to the zodiac sign but I can't find any other possible source for it. I think it's rather pretty as Lie-bra.

Leo of course. I quite like Taurus as a boy's name.

Ive always liked Ares anyway (though it turns out I was pronouncing it wrong) but it's no substitute for Aries due to their meanings.

Virgo is the one I'd least like to be called, especially as a woman (or worse, as a teenage girl!) I think if I had to choose one as my own name (leaving aside Leo and Aries) it would probably be Libra.

Could have names associated with the star signs rather than the names of the signs themselves?

Capricorn - Capri (means goat) or go down the more 'rock' association's like Petra, Atlas etc.
Aquarius - Ariel, Ocean, Rain, Skye as it's an air sign?
Pisces- water based names like River, Brook, Dylan (son of the sea), Marina
Aries - Ares, Blaze (fire sign), Rowan (from red, colour linked with Aries)
Taurus - Venus (ruling planet), Ferdinand (means gentle bull), it's a spring sign so could go down the Flora, Rose, Laurel line....
Gemini - caster, pollux, Gemma
Cancer - Luna (cancer is thought to be ruled by the moon), Diana (goodness of the moon), Pearl (I think is a birth stone for cancer?)
Leo - fine as it is but also Leonie, Leonard, Leopold, Leonora
Virgo - struggling with this one tbh,
Libra- Justine (like justice, the scales), Harmony, Pax (means peace I think),
Scorpio- associated with the Phoenix I think so that could be a link? Onyx for the birth stone?
Sagittarius - Archer, Fletcher

Onyx isn't the birthstone for Scorpios. November is topaz which could definitely work as a name. October is opal which could also work. Both for girls obvs.

For Virgo, the birthstone is sapphire or peridot. Don't think peridot would work. Sapphire is borderline.
