DS in Year 3 has multiples of Violet, Florence, Reuben and Joshua.

DD in Reception has more than one Kit, Felix and Beatrice in her year.

How about yours?

Sophie & Daniel are the only ones I remember there being multiples of in my DC's year.

scrivette · 01/05/2026 21:51

Lily’s everywhere here, several in each year.

Mumofgirls2017 · 01/05/2026 21:24

Year 2- multiple Alex, Rowan, Noah, Ruby
Reception- multiple Ivy, Amelia

usedtobeaylis · 01/05/2026 21:20

I think there are a few variations on Maya, Maia etc but apart from that I'm not aware of many duplicated names in her year. Just had a look over her class photo and there are no kids with shared names in her class.

Wraparound care has a few Amelias.

harrietm87 · 01/05/2026 20:50

Mine are the same ages as yours OP.

The year 3 multiples are Leo, Theo, Nina and Lily (2 of each).

Reception none that I know of but a lot that are similar - my DD has Eleanor, Elena, Elsie and Ella in her class.

There isn’t a single Oliver or Olivia in either year group that I’m aware of, out of 90 kids in each year. We’re in London.

There's no repeats at my daughter's nursery. But at toddler class there's multiples of Sophia, Isabelle, George, Jude and Freddie.

pinkpie · 01/05/2026 20:20

Most of the girls are called Isla, seriously.

DoYouSellBuckets · 01/05/2026 20:14

Literally only Maya in my daughter's year. I thought it would be a lot of Olivias and Mohammeds based on the stats and area (I'm a maths nerds and looked when she was named) but there's a delightful array of names - I don't think there are any of either, actually. It does fascinate me! It's a very multicultural school in a smart area of a not particularly posh South East area.

elliesmummy19 · 01/05/2026 16:53

Ahmed, Needa, Mohammed. Those are the only ones where there’s more than one. It’s a lovely multi-cultural school where there’s names from many cultures so there’s quite a variety in my daughter’s year.
