Elowen/Elowyn or Daphne?

I think we have narrowed it down to these two.
Other three DC all have Celtic names, so Elowen fits well. I think I prefer the pronunciation Elowyn because it comes more naturally to say.
I've always loved Daphne.

Elowen/wyn irritates me for some reason, sounds like an elf from middle earth or something. But that's just me.
It sort of irritates me but because of it being a bit like a long name just to be shortened and El names seem overused.
Plus there's that the original pronunciation (and spelling) not being used.

As a Cornish person it really irritates me when people mispronounce Elowen. The emphasis is on the middle syllable - eh-LOW-en!

I agree. It's as bad as saying Marina as mariner (non-rhotic).

Love Daphne! But it might raise a few eyebrows unless it's about to become popular. Never watched Bridgerton, well I tried but found it dull and nauseating! Daphne to me is very much dated to Australia in the 80's, very much due a revival!

It's becoming popular so it won't raise eyebrows I don't think. It will be a top 100 name soon. I was actually worried it was getting too popular.
I'm still so split, probably leaning towards Elowen, but I quite like middle earth style names.
