I've not heard this name, but Priya (which I assume is the shortened version) I have come across a few times and I think it's lovely.

Are you Indian? It would be a weird name otherwise.
When I was 6 I was obsessed with the name and insisted my parents change my name. Luckily they didn't.

To be clear, it's pronounced: Pree-yung-kah..and not Pree-yan-kah.

I'm glad it's pronounced Priyunkah. When I saw the spelling my first thought was that it rhymed with wanker.

I just think Chopra when I see Priyanka. But it is a nice enough name. Nicer than Neelam.
