Is it that bad? I really like it, and I've tried it on a few people and they've seemed to like it too. I know of a 3 year old one and she suits it and gets called Bloss. My DH likes it but thinks it's too risky as it's so girly and a bit marmite so she might not like it.
I personally don't think it sounds more girly than Rosie, Poppy etc which are all popular, but I appreciate it is more unusual. I don't really care about the TV series, I didnt see it and kids these days won't know it.

I think Blossom is a trendy choice with younger mums, it will probably increase in popularity. It's fine. Maybe Bluebell or Clover for a similar vibe?
I like Flora best of your list.

I’d also consider Birdie a short form or nickname only.

Róisín?
Dara was traditionally a boys name but also used for girls now. Oak-tree is the meaning in Irish I think.

Indigo definitely not going on the list.
I really like Birdie, but to me it feels very much a nickname. I'd worry about it seeming like it's not a proper name. Is it established enough as a name now?

Flora is on the list. India is a no go for me, due to knowing an awful India. I've never considered Indiana.
Violet is nice. I'm not keen on Ivy or Iris, perfectly ok names but not for me.

Please OP don’t get swayed by Indigo! Feels clunky and masculine to me. Blossom is 100 times more lovely. Daphne is sweet. Daisy is a safe and pretty option and nothing at all wrong with it IMO.

India is beautiful and would be a way better option for Indie. Or what about Violet if he likes Indigo? Way more elegant and you can have Vivi for short.

Birdie is a very cute suggestion and in fact I think there were sisters called Birdie and Blossom in a school my DD attended for a short time! I remember thinking ‘Great names’ 😊

I think it's cause we know an Indigo so it feels more normal than Marigold. Also it shortens to Indi which he's keen on and is quite mainstream.
I don't think indigo is a name I can settle on though.
His issue with Primrose is the Prim bit.

I think I like names that are a bit more unusual.

Cherry, Holly, Ivy, Flora, Iris.

How about Birdie?
Its another derivation of Bridget (along with Bridie and Biddy) but has a sort of hippie ring to it.

It's not unisex imo. I consider it a male name, and yyy to the 'crunchy/ Steiner' category.

India or Indya would be nicer.

Indie is nice but I’d prefer India or Indiana for the full version. Indigo says Steiner school crunchy new age parents to me. (Maybe you are, though, in which case, have at it! 😆👍)

Linnea? (Swedish name, very pretty, I know a couple). Siri? Clea? Sidonie? What about Marianne, if you like Daphne and Marigold?

I like Blossom. Also like Daphne.
Indigo for me is a boys name as I knew a boy Indigo. However I guess it's unisex and I am not fond of unisex names personally.

I’m not keen to be honest, and I do generally like flowery type names - Poppy, Daisy etc. I think Blossom has a completely different vibe.

I don’t dislike any out of Marigold, Primrose or Indigo. Meadow is nice too.

Bridie is a nice name, thank you, but the old fashioned connotations put us off as we are very close to family in Ireland, travel there a lot etc.

I really like Marigold but DH just laughed and said no, but it's got great nicknames so it's going on the list. He thinks we are too boring to pull off Goldie 🤣
Blossom is a bit more mainstream I think.

Daisy is a contender, Daphne is top at the moment, siblings love it which is nice and it's a nature name but still quite safe/inoffensive.
I also like Zinnia and Leilani has been mentioned a couple of times. Haven't really heard of that but quite like it, I think it came up twice in this thread.
Rowan is cool but I know too many boy Rowans, I just think of them. I do quite like Sorrel.

The two names I like the most are the ones your dh dislikes the most 🫤 I love Marigold and Primrose! (I don’t like Blossom at all).
