Just for fun, any names you’re suddenly hearing more of and expect to climb the ranks when the ONS data is released? My predictions to climb are Elodie, Eloise, Esme, Maeve, Margot, Sylvie, Marigold (Goldie), Daphne, Albert / Albie, Sidney, Sonny, Rowan…

Sapphire and Saffy (bc of Ed Sherran), Ophelia (bc of Taylor Swift).

Also Teddy, Olive, Paisley and Sunday.

Rafferty (or variations of Raffy) and Ottilie are on the money. I think Sienna (cringe) will continue to rise too.

Mordor? Like the evil kingdom in lord of the rings? Sounding like murder and I think means murder in another language? Surely not?

But then I do know someone who named their twins Ronnie and Reggie. And know of two people who named their child lucifer.

I’m sort of hoping for Dennis to have a resurgence as it’s DS’s middle name after a beloved relative. I have encountered one in the wild, he was about 8 years old and gave me the confidence to go for it as a middle name.
