Does the name Olive Mac sound like I am describing a rain mac? Or am I overthinking that?

So Olive and Mac are both middles? I think that’s totally fine. I was about to say just Olive Mac was fine anyway to my ear, as Olive is a name as much as a colour. If you were using say Blue Mac that would be different.

meant to say the full name will be Matilda Olive Mac , does that sound like I am describing a rain mac?

there are sentimental reasons linked to a friend with the Mac
