Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

Sophie would be my pick out of those, but it’s so popular that I don’t love it.

Rosa just seems a little off for me. Rosie might be nicer?

Rae and Elle don’t seem like whole names to me. They are abbreviations for something else.

SalmonOnFinnCrisp · 24/01/2026 23:25

Sophie

AffableBill · 24/01/2026 23:25

Rosa Elle Robertson is an excellent name.

Giraffehaver · 24/01/2026 23:22

Rosa is lovely

LivingTheDreamish · 24/01/2026 23:20

I would go with the alliteration OP. Rosa Robertson is a standout name.

Advocodo · 24/01/2026 20:46

Sophie.

user2848502016 · 24/01/2026 20:46

Sophie

I love Rosa too but not keen on alliteration first name & surname

StripedVase · 24/01/2026 20:42

I'm going to be a lone voice for Rae Robertson being a fantastic name!

RegalDiamondMonster · 24/01/2026 19:46

Sophie Robertson flows the best.

Without knowing your surname i would have also said Rosa and Rae were nice, but I don't think they flow as well. (Rae is a different vibe, but is a pretty sound.)

pilates · 24/01/2026 19:33

Rosa ❤️

DuchessOfNarcissex · 24/01/2026 19:31

I think Sophia/Sofia is the most popular girls names the world over and has been for years! Isn't that Maria?

I know many Sophias/Sofias and Sophies.
Were there any Sophies born before the 1960s? I wouldn't say it was timeless.

I think Sophia / Sofia is the most popular girls names the world over and has been for years!

Still very lovely! Sophie is a beautiful name. So soft and gentle sounding.

All the Sophies I know are gentle and generally gorgeous humans

TomatoSandwiches · 24/01/2026 18:51

Sophie is the best Sophia is also nice.

Rosa - nice but doesn't go with the surname
Sophie - great. I like it but Sophia/Sofia is so popular
Rae - dreadful. If you want Rae could you put Rachel on the BC.
Elle - it's just Her or She. Ellie and Ella have been done to death. Elle short for something would be ok.

The alliteraton doesn't sound good IMO because it's Rose-uh Rob-uh-tson.
Rosie Robertson does work.

Sophie. Such a timeless name. I am a teacher and have never taught a Sophie who was not delightful. Plus, I think it matches your surname too

repeatingabaselessclaim · 24/01/2026 18:47

Rosie and Sophie I like best because although all 4 names go well with Robertson, I think the 2 syllable first names sound just that bit nicer with your3 syllable name.

Baguetteandcheese · 24/01/2026 18:03

I don’t like Elle or Rae. I like Sophie but my goodness there are so many of them. I work with 3! It’s just very safe bordering on dull. Not a fan of Rosa.

olympicsrock · 24/01/2026 17:10

I like Rosa Sophie and Rae ( like a sun ray)
How about Sophie Rae Robertson ? Rosa Rae is too much alliteration

dailyconniptions · 24/01/2026 17:00

Rae is dreadful. Sounds like a bloke in a string vest. Rosa is lovely.

Moreteaandchocolate · 24/01/2026 16:47

I really like Rosa - beautiful, simple and classy. I quite like the alliteration.

Sophie is nice too, but there are a lot of Sophie’s and Sophia’s around us, which would put me off.

Elle feels a bit unfinished as it’s a letter sound, like saying “L”. How about Ella - that’s got the same classy vibe as Rosa?

Rae is a no from me.

123123again · 24/01/2026 16:35

Definitely alliteration. Its cool!

But Rosa not Rae. The male version Ray isn’t great and that’s all I hear.

GoodVibesHere · 24/01/2026 16:29

Sophie, goes better with the surname. Actually I prefer Sophia but that's not on your listSmile

itsgettingweird · 24/01/2026 16:27

I’d go for

Sophia Rae Roberston

or Sophie Rae Robertson as you prefer Sophie.
