Rudy or Sol / Stella or Nancy

We're days away now from welcoming our third and just can't fix on a final name for our surprise gender baby. Which would you choose for a boy/girl?!

So into all these names.

Either boy’s name. Fine work. Maybe both. Sol Rudy Surname. Rudy Sol Surname.

Nancy edges it on girls for me just because of Artois. But I do love Stella.

Sol is nice but you’ll be sick of people asking what its short for.Yes its no shorter than Sam etc but people are familiar with those,

Sol - Mexican larger
Rudy- teasing
Stella- Belgium larger
Nancy- my nan was Annie so nicknamed Nancy, so that's how I see it

Thank you all for the input! I like Sol a lot but don't want Solomon... It does feel short but no shorter than Sam, Ben or Jack my husband has pointed out!

Sol is such a lovely name. Some websites say it means ‘Sun’ which makes it so cute

I like Solomon too. Sol makes me think of beer or Sol ( Sulzeer Jeremiah) Campbell.

I’m not usually one to say a person needs a ‘full name’ but I do find Sol a bit too short, I love it though - Solomon is a really cool name?

I really like Rudy too, and Stella.

I’ve never really liked Nancy but it seems really popular on here, so all great choices.

Issue with Nancy is that it may have a bit of a moment due to Stranger Things- people don’t choose names in a cultural vacuum and the name currently has positive associations because of the show, so more people will subconsciously like it and consider it as a name they could use now.

Sol definitely.
Not keen on either Stella or Nancy.
