If it was entirely upi to you what would your kids be called?

I think mine would be

ds-Otto

dd1-Mabel

and

dd2-Ida

they would have bloody suited them too, though we'd have been laughed out of the playground

With DS it was entirely up to me.......My relationship with DH (at that point he was my ex fiance) wasn't good.

DD would have been Maisie, but the boys in the family vetoed it so we chose a name that everyone liked.

it was entirely up to me what I called my DC. DH had a say, or course but my ideas were better than his

seriously I would stick with the names we have, they are fab IMHO

dd1's name would be the same, dd2 would have been Rowan or Sorrel. dh and I both agree the boy we never had would have been called Carter.

If DD3 was a boy i would have called him Logan Justis. Glad DC3 was another girl then.

DH was convinced he would be having a son and heir so didn't even consider girl's names so I got my first choice and then got him to select between Imogen and Isabelle (which I liked equally) for middle names so that he felt he had been involved in the decision.

He was looking at her passport the other day and said "I forgot her middle name was Imogen." Oh well, I tried.

prob princess, callum or freddie as boy.
if up 2 my mum dd would have been called moira, but so reminds e of moira hindley what was she thinking lol

just dont get this "my mum said i couldnt..." ffs! if you're old enough to be a mum then surely you're old enough to stand your ground with your own mum?!

my dss are (obviously) called exactly what i wanted for each of them... (dh's choice too)

my (hypothetical) dds would be called

glory and pearl

My boys name are fine. But DD would have been Idony - I just really liked it.

Only got one dd but she would have been called Caroline (my cousin's name so my mum banned it!)

Next fictional dd would be Verity (dh hates it, I love it)

Fictional ds would be Sebastian and Dominic

DD would have been Gertrude. Gertie for short. DP was having none of it.

DS would stay the same. He seems to really suit his name so far, but he's only 6 weeks old so it's hard to tell!

Dd1 and Ds would be as they are, but Dd2 would be Eloise. It is her middle name, but I always wanted it as her first name.

It was entirely up to me. I told dh that although I respected his input and would take it into consideration, until he carrried a gave birth to a baby all names were up to me.

ds1 is Mateo (Means "gift from God" and truly fit the circumstances of his pregnancy)

ds2 is Cruz (dh was watching a movie while I was asleep and the next day the name of one of the characters kept popping in my head, the more I said it the more I liked it.)

Although if I wasn't with DP with his surname I could have had some other names I liked IYSWIM.
