Opinions on Esme and Ismay?

Both names are of French origin and have the same meaning.

Both names have been recorded as girl names since the 16th century.

I don't like either tbh.

My cousins DD is esme and shes a little arsehole which may colour my view.

Esme is lovely. Ismay is one letter away from Dismay.
