Rory is a young female character in Gilmore Girls. She’s extremely clever, kind and beautiful. May have prompted some girls to be named Rory ( not her birth name in the series) It’s still v popular.

I always thought it was a terrible name for a girl when I watched it.

It feels a bit.... sorry for any female Rory's reading this....dated and dowdy.
Aurora is a very pretty name. Rory isn't.
It's like naming a child "Diamond" but calling her "Stone".

Aurora is beautiful, I don’t like nicknames or shortening of names so not Rory.

Aurora is just perfect as it is.
