Opinions on the name Avia?

Avia means “God is my father" from a Hebrew root, and "bird" from Latin.

Sounds like the insurance company Aviva to me.

Isn’t it the name of a p&o cruise ship?

That's Arvia. However, that's what I thought of first too when I heard the name

The first time I have heard this name and I like it. My concern is about confusion over pronunciation - Ahvia, Avvia, or Ayvia.

My daughter has this name. Usually spelt Aviya in English. Named to honour my late father and inspired by the film The Summer of Aviya!
it’s very unusual but we do know a few other girls with this name (it’s actually gender neutral and my husband did once meet an older man called Aviya).
