Looking for a pretty vintage girls name. Love Clemmie, Winnie and Lila. Any other suggestions? And how would you spell Lila? (Said like lilac without the c!)

I knew a Lyla. She'll be late 60s now, if that's your definition of vintage.
Thelma must be due a revival? Along with Edna and Edith.

Tessie (Teresa) or Teddy (Theodora)

Lila is quite popular, the one in my DC’’s class is a Lyla.

I like Mabel but otherwise not a fan.

Mine would be Ada or Martha! But if I was to have a little girl (which I won’t because we’re ancient!) I would definitely be picking a vintage name!

Floundering66 · 12/11/2025 20:23

I like Alexandra, Alice, Eleanor, Harriet and Lillian.
My grandmothers were Florence (Florrie) and Winifred (Winnie).
I always think its spelt Lilah or Lyla.
