Ok I’m ready for brutal feedback (and nice feedback!)…here is my shortlist for baby that is coming in 3 weeks. In my head she’s always been a Mabel…

Middle name likely to be Rosie as chosen by older siblings (only if we don’t go with an ‘e’ sounding first name).

Mabel
Matilda
Polly
Posie
Heidi
Darcy
Elodie

I can’t stand Darcy, partly because it’s gone so chavvy with the Darci-Mai’s out there. Or endless Darcy-Rose’s. Matilda, popular, dull.

I love Elodie, Mabel is lovely. Posie is way too twee for a grown up.

Mabel - my favourite
Matilda - ok, but less keen on Tilly for a teen / adult
Polly - like
Posie - too cutesie for me
Heidi - love
Darcy - like but trendy and may date
Elodie - like but she could become another Ellie

I love Mabel and Matilda, not too keen on others, although all nice.

Mabel would be my choice anyway. Go with your head (/heart)! Nice list though. Good luck!
