Aethelflaed is beautiful too.

I would just tell people that is my name and I won’t accept being called anything else. It’s your name and no-one has the right to shorten it if you don’t want to.

I hate shotened names so I don’t allow anyone to do that, and I wouldn’t let anybody shorten my DDs name until they were old enough to choose for themselves.

Both insist on their full names now.

Ooh, yes. I'm partial to Aethelflaed but I wouldn't want it shortened to Ethel.

So happy to see Loveday on someone’s list! I have been the subject of family ridicule my whole life because I wish I was called this!

I honestly dont think I can carry it off, but I'd give it a go for a year!

I sometimes ponder legally giving myself this as a middle name but never actually had the balls to do it. However if I have to do anything that makes me nervous or i think I’m out of my depth I imagine this is my alter ego because Loveday’s not scared of anything! 🤣
