Crap. I can't think of any boy names I like at all.

If this next baby is a boy it will probably end up being called number 2.

There's one name I really like but DH hates it, and there's not another name I can think of that I'd be happy with.

Anyone else in the same boat? Maybe it'll be a girl, that would be slightly easier...

Yannick is nice.

Well, I ran some more ideas past DH last night, no dice.

Please god this baby is a girl or we're in trouble...

I like Yannick.

PinkPussyCat · 04/06/2008 08:30

I used to know a Janek (pronounced Yannick)

Still prefer Magnus though!

belgo · 04/06/2008 06:59

Jorick/Yorick

loopylollipop · 03/06/2008 19:34

We have the same problem - I sympathise!

As for scandi names, how about Anders or Otto?

purpleflower · 03/06/2008 16:21

We are in exactly the same position, DS was really hard and got the only name we could agree on. It's even harder as DP is hungarian and we would like a hungarian middle name.

I like Joshua and Jack but Jack really doesn't go with the surname.

bohemianbint · 03/06/2008 16:21

Pink - Magnus is what DS was going to be (I saw a rather hunky one in an Ikea catalogue!) if he wasn't who he is... DH not so keen last tiem but wants to call the next one Magnus. I now have a friend with a son called Magnus though and am not sure if it would be weird!

haha nailpolish, after hanging round here for a bit I felt compelled to add the disclaimer

PinkPussyCat · 03/06/2008 16:16

I like Travis too

bohemianbint · 03/06/2008 16:16

belgo - DS is only 22 months so no bullying yet, but his name starts with a J but is pronounced as a Y, so that's probably going to cause some bother in later life.

nailpolish · 03/06/2008 16:15

what about Travis

PinkPussyCat · 03/06/2008 16:15

Magnus?

I love your girl's names btw

nailpolish · 03/06/2008 16:15

lol @ "its a real name"

bohemianbint · 03/06/2008 16:14

God, I hope so.

Am quite liking Tavis at this precise moment, I vaguely know one...

Goran

belgo · 03/06/2008 16:14

nope, don't remember that sketch! But if your ds has a scandinavian name, has he been bullied for that?
