Accidentally gave both daughters 6 letter 2 syllable names and have now found out I am due another girl. But can't find any 6 letter 2 syllables names we like🙈

I also have a Harper 🥹 , I had mentioned Marnie to my partner before but he wasn't keen 😂

Aww do you!

I really think Bonnie, Harper & Marlow would be so lovely (especially as Harlow was something you liked but can’t use) x

Just choose a name you like. Literally no one will notice whether it’s the same letter or syllable count as her sisters.

I think I'm inclined to agree op - after all, even you didn't notice for a while!

Just pick a name you love.

Unless you and your partner both have 6 letter, two syllable names, I do think you might be overthinking names slightly!
For example Bonnie, (DD2 made up name) Sylvie and Thea sounds lovely!

SilverCamellia · 28/09/2025 19:18

Sylvie. Such a pretty name.

Chlop98 · 28/09/2025 19:09

😂it is not an option for us anyway

But we don't like any names yet this is the point 😂 so if we get suggestions of 6 letter ones and like it then it's a win , if I already had one I liked before 6 letters I wouldn't be looking for a 6 letter

You should have mentioned this in your OP maybe. The most important thing is to find a name you love, not that it has 6 letters and 2 syllables imho.

Honestly this. You chose your other children's names because you liked the names not because they fit some daft pattern. Surely your third child should also have a name you like rather than one that was chosen just to make her match her siblings?

But we don't like any names yet this is the point 😂 so if we get suggestions of 6 letter ones and like it then it's a win , if I already had one I liked before 6 letters I wouldn't be looking for a 6 letter
