Baby name change

I’ve finally decided to change my daughter’s first name before she turns one.

I really love a name that’s completely different from her current one, but I’m worried it might feel awkward for family, friends, and even for us, since we’ve been calling her by her current name for 11 months.

Another option is to simply add the letter “a” to her existing name. I like that version, though not as much as the completely different name. The benefit is that no one will really notice the change, and it would still feel more acceptable to me than her current name.

what do you think guys and what you advise please

I think you need to give more information for people to give meaningful advice.
How old is she? Why did you use the original name in the first place? Have you never liked it or is this a new feeling? How long have you wanted to use the completely new name? Is it a new whim that you might change your mind on or a name you liked since she was born and wanted to use all along?

Her name was one of the options . After that it doesn’t fit well with teh culture.the other name was one of the option but will fit more in the UK

Why change it at all?

As I found her name pronounced here the same as name in slang language , in English like a word has bad meaning, Also people alawys open their mouths when they first hear it,

Option d, leave it alone. It's so weird to change a child's name especially at almost a year old.
