Struggling to name our baby girl

I’ve name changed because the details are outing.

The two names I love are Maeve and Daisy. However, DH is called Dave and I have a baby niece named Darcy.

I can’t find any other names that I really gel with, grateful for any ideas.

Darcy and Daisy aren't similar at all apart from both starting with D.
Daisy is lovely.
(Or Maisy if it's the sound of the name you like).

Both lovely names but I’d personally avoid Maeve with Dave because it does sound a bit silly and I imagine it’ll raise eyebrows when you start to do things like nursery birthday parties and school events- ‘Hi I’m Dave and this is my daughter Maeve’. However, there’s no issue with Daisy and Darcy for cousins.

Maeve and Daisy are both lovely names and I would use them despite the similar family names - it’s more important to choose a name you love than overthink these things. Dave will be daddy to her anyway, so it won’t be an issue a lot of the time.

Or how about Maisie or Niamh?

I dislike Maeve (and Maeva) but Daisy is nice.

I also dislike Darcy, but that's not the point.

Agree, Daisy and Darcy is fine.

And I prefer Daisy.
