Got such a good response from you all for my prev post (thks) - think we've decided on Claudia.

Now need a middle name.......suggestions please.

We are considering Daisy but as it was up for our first name not sure if want the temptation to wish I'd used it as a first name - IUKWIM. Would rather just discount it completely.

Also like Rose - but is this now a very common mn?

Lucy is also an option and Kathryn..

Thanks

The only name DH and I thought would go with Claudia was Rose, and we couldn't use Rose - so we scrapped Claudia.

RipMacWinkle · 05/06/2008 14:29

I like Beth

Claudia Beth would be lovely....

What is the first sound of the surname, I think that'll make a lot of difference to how the second name sounds.

Also, Claudia IMO needs a short snappy middle name after it, I instantly thought of Rose before seeing any of your suggestions.

It is michelle pfeiffer!

crumpet · 04/06/2008 13:36

Isn't there a sleb with a daughter called Claudia Rose? Pretty name, but it rings a bell - poss. Michelle Pfeiffer?

Claudia Clare if you want a one syllable alliteratiev middle name.

Hopeoverexperience · 04/06/2008 13:16

Claudia Grace sounds lovely to me.

Anna8888 · 03/06/2008 18:21

Claudia Felicity
Claudia Penelope
Claudia Persephone
Claudia Bathsheba

HonoriaGlossop · 03/06/2008 18:14

agree with thefallenmadonna, that's so true about 'standard' middle names - everyone is using Mae, Rose and Grace. All lovely names though.

i think Daisy is too different from Claudia, the names don't 'go'

Claudia is a really lovely name BTW

I think Claudia Louise is the best of those on here

TwoFirTreesToday · 03/06/2008 17:30

Claudia Fay

Claudia Ann

Claudia Kate

Mamazon · 02/06/2008 18:03

Claudia Mae/May

also like Rose and DD's middle name is Grace so that's good too.

constancereader · 02/06/2008 18:01

another vote for Claudia Jane

lotspot · 02/06/2008 18:00

Claudia Grace and Claudia Jane both sprung to my mind

I like Claudia Kathryn although also Rose sounds lovely too, but is used more commonly now.

Mary, Jane, Louise, May, Margaret, Elizabeth,Frances all work well too. Am liking Claudia Frances actually.

minniedot · 02/06/2008 13:33

DD3 will have a 3 syllable first name so we have chosen Grace for a middle name (I think )

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 02/06/2008 13:29

Grace is very nice

TheFallenMadonna · 02/06/2008 13:29

When I was younger, the standard middle names were Ann(e), Mary and Jane.

Now they seems to be May/Mae and Rose.

Claudia Rose is nice. And Claudia Mary actually...

Claudia Jean as a homage to the magnificent CJ in West Wing?
