Classic but rare baby boy names

I’m a teacher, so when naming a baby I want something unusual but not weird.
I loved Alastair but unfortunately my partner has a cousin named this
Girl names are so much easier!
Any suggestions of similar names?

My DS is Edmund. I’ve never met any others.

It’s a lovely name.

I also like Edwin.

And Nicholas too as per pp’s suggestion.

You asked for classic so I suggest David and Daniel, also Nicholas as above. Maybe Simon. I have more names but they aren't classic.

@TheFutureIs Xander is very popular, if you’re looking for something a little less mainstream
