Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 23:29

girls ones am now going to muse over include

Clementine (just don't tell GreenElizabeth!)
Cordelia
Georgina
Corinna
Celeste
Beatrice
Eugenie
Evangelia

OP posts:
norkmaiden · 30/05/2008 23:13

lots of the names on this thread right up my street

not sure I can put myself through the necessary sufferings again (have only PFB ) in order ever to use any though..!

bluenosesaint · 30/05/2008 23:12

And you Dizzy

How long have you got left now? How are you feeling?

dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 23:10

all very welcome norkmaiden - love your name btw!!!

I only called on title posters as (including Scorpio) we're the usual suspects yabbering on with same suggestions on the naming threads

wasn't meant to exclude anyone else

norkmaiden · 30/05/2008 23:09

Your daughters have beautiful names Dizzy!

For dc3, how about:

Constance (Connie)
Maria (Mia)
Bethany (Beth)
Charlotte (Charlie/Lottie)
Cassandra (Cassie/Casey)
Evelyn (Evie)
Genevieve (Gen/Genny)
Jasmine (Jazz/Mina)
Lucinda/Lucita/Lucille (lucy)
Samantha (Sam/Sammi)

I love thinking of names

dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 22:54

its more tit for tat in our house and we end up striking off

i.e if he has one I hate, I red card it and vice versa so we end up with a few in the end

pmsl greeny carry on because at this rate this baby will have no name for weeks after he/she arrives!

hatrick is it more of a boys name, I was thinking of princess names

jesus, am getting my inspiration from the farking Royals now, now I know I need help

GreenElizabeth · 30/05/2008 22:41

Am I getting too bossy? I will tone it down a bit.

GreenElizabeth · 30/05/2008 22:41

Ps, just pick Cordelia Eve! Or Cordelia Georgina

You can put Cordelia on the birth cert and then you can spend the next five years deciding whether she should be

Cora, Coco, Delia, Celia, Didi, Lia...
I can't think of a name with more nns.

eugenie not good when I can't even type it properly lol

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 22:38

Eugeine nn Gene?

OP posts:
GreenElizabeth · 30/05/2008 22:36

Yes meant birth control pills!

Cordelia can be Coco definitely
Georgina Nina
Nancy
Eve
Corinna with Nina/Cora is clever but prefer Cordelia!

You have a growing list here! And importantly I approve of them all.

I like Claudia too, but Clementine is too germanic next to latin Isabella and Alexandra (what I really mean is don't like it). It took me 7 posts to remember to mention Clementine. Also, people will say it like the satsuma clementeen, when it is clementyne. Too confusing.

dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 22:25

am getting the feeling you're the naming police in disguise!!

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2008 22:23

Cora a different name from Cordelia, but don't let that stop you .

dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 22:21

can I get Coco or cora as a nn for Cordelia?

or is that too much of my weirdy logic again

what about corinna? Nina/Cora?

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 22:20

I knew a Judith at school and wasn't fond so would only have it for a boy

isn't it terrible how associations can ruin a perfectly fine name

I like Henrietta but would use Etta and that too close to Ella

Harriet not so keen for some strange reason may grow on me yet
