Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:28

cassia is very pretty too

not keen on cassandra though - too 'only fools and horses!!'

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:27

ButterflyMcQueen · 02/06/2008 11:26

it is fabulous!!

just worried about a bit of an influx of Darius/Marius/Lucius names

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:26

I think its frowned upon as on a cruise there isn't really anywhere to escape is there?

no doubt that made it all the more appealing to dcousin - I always imagine cruises to be a bit like 'loveboat' where all the middle aged women are trying to get into the captain and the daughters are behind the lifeboats shifting the bar/catering staff

scorpio1 · 02/06/2008 11:26

tis ok i didnt chose my name!

cyteen · 02/06/2008 11:24

Is it really not allowed? My dad went through the female passengers like a dose of salts, to hear him tell it (he was recently divorced and raring to go).

Some of the stories he's told me about life on board are amazing. He said he was going to write a book about his experiences but never has...I must badger him to get on with it.

/extreme derail

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:24

oh shite, I ALWAYS seem to manage to offend you without meaning to

I take it from that you're my 4th?!?

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 02/06/2008 11:22

so you are not fond of me then dizzy??

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:22

it IS lovely kitty am just not sure about the meaning for this one being a summer baby

butterfly it has three fans then - you, me and Hatrick

Now dizzy Natalia can be shortened to Talia which is one of the best names ever

ButterflyMcQueen · 02/06/2008 11:19

cassius was on our shortlist for ds4

would suit him as well

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:19

I think dcousin was making too many of the female passengers feel far too 'at home' which is strictly a no no and being too pished to remember when to get on board/get off/turn up for his shift

tis no wonder he has ended up in the family business, no body else would have him bless him!

Heh My dad worked for several years on a cruise ship - he got thrown in the harbour once, but I think that was just drunken hijinks from a bandmate.

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:10

cyteen am sure its the cruise ship my cousin got chucked off for being a drunken arse - he was working on it and didn't behave very well

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 11:09

quite like Natalia but means 'christmas' which am not sure about for a July baby
not keen on Stephanie - by association, know 3, not fond of any of them

OP posts:
cyteen · 02/06/2008 10:22

dizzy - Oriana is a real name (Italian, I think). I used to know someone with this name but have never been aware of the cruise ship, so I guess it's what you make of it.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2008 08:57

Or Stephanie (Steph, Fanny!, Stevie)?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2008 07:55

Yes it's cruise ship.

Have we considered Natalie yet (nn Nat or Tali)
or Natasha (Nat or Tash)?

dizzydixies · 01/06/2008 23:04

can'tsleep am not too keen on Felicity
Pip I think I would prefer as a nn for Piper

kitty can't use Amelia as just been used last year within the family

cyteen thats a nice one, but does it hint more of a cruise ship than a baby name?!

OP posts:
cyteen · 01/06/2008 14:42

Oriana, nn Rio.

sweetkitty · 01/06/2008 09:28

Right what we up to now?

What about Amelie/Amelia nn Amy

Ella, Lexie and Amy???

hunkermunker · 01/06/2008 08:27

Aurelie sounds like O'Reilly.

Pollyanna · 01/06/2008 07:39

I think Phoebe is the solution. You can call her Bee.

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/06/2008 07:17

There's an ottilie at my tumbletots class. I think it's quite pretty, though had never heard it before then.

I take it you didn't like Felicity? Did you suggest Philippa/Pip to your dh?
