They all sound a bit young-middle-aged. I wouldn't like to be called any of the names. If you like Sienna,Venetia is far superior.

Greentomatoes21 · 18/08/2025 22:47

I like them all except Louisa. (Too close to Louise for me, which was really overused where I lived in the 80s/90s). I actually really love Julia - as a teacher of nearly 20 years I don't think I have ever taught a Julia and I have taught quite a few children named the others on your list. It is classic, elegant (I always think of Julia Roberts) and it is my gorgeously kind and clever friend's name. Julia for the win!

ChocolateCinderToffee · 18/08/2025 22:11

Love all of them except Rosalie.

Pigsinblankets13 · 18/08/2025 20:11

Rosalie by a country mile...although prefer Rosalia!

Newname42 · 18/08/2025 20:11

Love Juliet and Sienna
Like Julia
Indifferent to Louisa and Rosalie

Arsed · 18/08/2025 20:11

They’re mostly perfectly reasonable names. I couldn’t get excited about any of them but I neither like or dislike them. They’re a bit Meh.

Except Rosalie which is awful.

fruitpastille · 18/08/2025 20:10

Juliet is ok
I really like Rosa but not sure about Rosalie
I don't like the others. Julia and Louisa are quite dated.

twobabiesandapup · 18/08/2025 20:09

I love Louisa and Sienna and would probably say I dislike Julia, Rosalie I kind of like and Juliet would be in between dislike and hate. Sorry for the over complication of my answer 😂

Rosalie don’t like , just do Rosie

Emanwenym · 18/08/2025 10:19

Rosalie is one I don't really get. Rosa, Rose and Rosie seem nicer and don't make me think of a cup of tea or seaside fortune teller.

Emanwenym · 18/08/2025 10:17

Why do people prefer the Juliette spelling,@NotMoving2Dubai .
Why do people prefer Vivienne to Vivien, Isabelle and Annabelle to Isabel and Annabel.
Is it because they are frillier?

I'd say them slightly differently.
Juliet JOOL-y-et, Juliette Jool-y-ET etc.
(cf. Janet/Janette)

I prefer the simpler versions.

I like Sienna, and I’m ambivalent about the other 4. They are fine, but not names that I have any particular reaction to other than thinking both Julia & Juliet feel a bit old fashioned.
