I LOVE Nell. But I don't love any of the typical long versions Eleanor, Prunella, Antonella, Helen, Helena, Ellen, Penelope
Can you think of any other longer versions?
Or just go with Nell?

Is Elizabeth a longer version?
Also I just read about Lunella and Nellwyn.
What do people think about those?

Annabel maybe? (after all, the N and the “Elle” sound are there even if nn’s Anna or Belle are more obvious). But I think you are also fine to just go with Nell if you really dislike the obvious Eleanor, Helena, Penelope etc.

However I would give her a more timeless sounding longer middle name (Elizabeth, Catherine, Charlotte, Emily etc) - as the problem with lovely Nell is that it’s a bit trendy at the moment (so may date in future) and also doesn’t really have any nickname options if she does dislike it for any reason in future. A timeless middle name would give her other choices.

Nell is fine on its own but you could work it from a first/ second name combination for example

nancy eloise
Nina Isobel
nova belle

I know a Manuela nn Nell. Also a Fenella but she doesn’t use a nn.

Just go for Nell if you want to, it's ok if name isn't to everyone's taste.
