Baby name advice – Liliana?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some thoughts on a baby girl name I’ve completely fallen in love with, Liliana.

I’ve always adored Lily and Lilian, and when I came across Liliana it just sat so nicely with me. I think it’s so pretty and has a lovely, timeless feel. But I’m a bit unsure how it comes across to others, does it feel like two names pushed together (Lily + Anna)? Is it a bit of a mouthful?

I’m also smitten with the middle name Marigold, so the full name would be Liliana Marigold. To me it just feels romantic and elegant, but I’d love to hear your honest thoughts before I get too attached!

Thanks in advance!

If you love it use it.
Some will say it as Lily-Anna and some as Lily-arna. She will probably end up being Lily.

I know one, she generally gets called Lily. It’s a very pretty name.

Really nice. Definitely prefer it to Lilian and you can always shorten to lily / Anna or Annie etc if you want

It’s lovely! I think these longer names are coming back into fashion, like Delilah, Matilda etc… Marigold isn’t my taste but perfectly fine as a middle name if you love it.

It was on my baby name list. I love it.

Liliana is lovely but I really don't like Marigold. It is associated with pretty flowers and rubber gloves that do dirty jobs.

Liliana is lovely, I know one!
Marigold only reminds me of kitchen gloves, sorry!

I used to know a Liliana. It's a gorgeous name. Those two names together are lovely!
