Any ideas for a middle name? Pretty please?

DD is due in 3 months and one of the favourite names so far is Abi (will be named Abigail but called Abi). We have no idea at all for a middle name though - our surname is Brown so pretty much anything will go with that but we need something as that surname is so common.

We are totally stuck - last pregnancy I spent hours with my head in the baby book. This time around it feels like one more thing to do lol.

Any help much appreciated

Thats my only concern - Im Amy so will be "A Brown" as well - hope it doesnt cause confusion on post etc. I will just have to be poncy and once (if ever at this rate) I get myself my phd keep referring to myself as Dr Brown (a la Ross in friends)

My MIL full name is "Marilyn Rosemary Dorothy" and she married FIL who had the surname Brown. So whilst he was "MR D. Brown"
she (if all initials used) is "M.R.D. Brown". Very confusing lol.

Sparky is better than Luscious.

Slubberdegullion · 28/05/2008 16:49

yes yes yes, all these nice and lovley names are all very suitable but I think that haribo might be slightly considering one along my lines, of a more unusual and 'breaking the ice at parties' bent.

I'm going to throw Luscious in for good measure.

Abi Luscious Brown.

addictedtoharibo · 28/05/2008 16:49

Pets involved in the process? No - as I said married and boring ;)

First pets for me were my goldfish Ben and Sam. Not sure she would appreciate that.

Saying that my first female pet was a cat called Sparky...

Abigail Sparky Brown?

Slubberdegullion · 28/05/2008 16:43

so nowhere exciting or hilarious for place conceived then?

How about pets?

dizzydixies · 28/05/2008 16:42

what about

Abigail Beatrice

beatrice has a lovely meaning - she who brings happiness

JessJess3908 · 28/05/2008 16:42

I think you need a one or max two syllable soft sounding name.

Mae?
Rose?

MKG · 28/05/2008 16:41

Oh my cousin is Abigail Rose

addictedtoharibo · 28/05/2008 16:41

would be great as you say at wedding or graduation. Abigail in bed because we are knackered and married brown. Catching on this I think.
