What does everyone think of this? I love that it is the more masculine spelling, feels cool and edgy but also cute. But just need some positive reinforcement as most current online threads really slam it as a full name!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I love it. It reminds me of the railway children too which I love.

But that was spelled Bobbie.

Nothinglikeagoodbook · 19/07/2025 16:52

No. Imo not cool or edgy, just silly and trying too hard. Sorry!

Moreteaandchocolate · 19/07/2025 16:51

I’’m not keen, sorry, it’s definitely a male name to me. It’s not so bad if short for Roberta, but still not a favourite.

Only if your surname is Moore or Charlton.

I know a Bobby, she's in her 50s. She loves being a Bobby and most certainly never had any issues with it growing up.

Love it as a NN. Maybe short for Roberta?

Trovindia · 19/07/2025 14:52

No, not as the full actual name. It's ok as a nickname.

I know a 20 something Bobbi, she’s lovely and it really suits her (very cool and edgy but also cute like you said)

bluecurtains14 · 19/07/2025 14:50

Poor kid. Would you want to spend your life explaining that?

T1Dmom · 19/07/2025 14:50

No.
