Is Connie Clyde a nice name?

We have been using the name Connie for our baby girl bump most of the pregnancy and I really love it however I am worried that it doesn’t go with our surname Clyde.
is it too similar to the Bonnie & Clyde reference or do you think people will not associate the two?
we are thinking middle name Mae. Are surnames really that important to consider?

Bonnie and Clyde didn’t immediately spring to mind for me. You could go Connie-Mae Clyde which may break it up a bit?
