dizzydixies · 25/05/2008 20:22

our dd2 is sassy - she is Lexie

what about Lola?

learningallthetime · 25/05/2008 19:58

I'm liking harriet - can also shorten it to hattie.

Why did her daughter hate her Twinkle?

OP posts:
BigBadMouse · 25/05/2008 19:57

Oh I love Harriet too. My DH wouldn't allow it for DD2 ...seems to be a trend with that name and that suggests to me that men are scared of 'Harriets' due to their extreme 'Sassiness'

LaDiDaDi · 25/05/2008 19:54

Sadie
Leila
Polly
Gina
Zoe
Wilma
Hattie
Uma

Twinkie1 · 25/05/2008 19:51

Thought there was an article in the Telegraph or Observer this week about Maya Angelou and her daughter hated her!

janeite · 25/05/2008 19:49

I was going for the "strong connotations" names, rather than sassiness.

Harriet is a lovely name though - I wanted it for dd2 but dp didn't like it. Men!

Sylvia (Plath/Pankhurst) another possibility.

janeite · 25/05/2008 19:47

Freya is a Norse goddess.

Twinkie1 · 25/05/2008 19:47

I vote for Harriet - then you can call them Harry when they are older as it sounds cool and sassy!

Oh and it is DDs name so I know it is super cool!

Freya is a bit drippy IMO!

learningallthetime · 25/05/2008 19:45

Manky - I've already got an Eva!

OP posts:
PortBlacksandResident · 25/05/2008 19:42

Harriet

LazyLinePainterJane · 25/05/2008 19:40

Missy

Jenbot · 25/05/2008 19:30

Freya doesn't sound sassy at all to me. Probably just because it sounds a bit like fey I imagine someone a bit fey.

mankymummy · 25/05/2008 19:28

Eve.
