What would your children be called if they were named after where they were possibly conceived?

My future baby could maybe be 'Alora' if it is a girl, or maybe be 'Holt' if it is a boy.

(OK, so they might also just be called 'home', but I tried to think of where else I'd been in the weeks around that time!!)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

dd1 would have been called hampstead heath

Amey · 24/05/2008 16:33

If we had concieved DS at first attempt he could have been 'verysandybeachatnight' or 'sandy' for short.
DD would have been called seriouslydrunkonaweekendbreakwiththeinlaws. Well I wouldn't have survived it otherwise.

ds1- dh and I had sex at noon. Ten hours later I was in New York, in my hotel, and felt ovulation pain. So ds1 would either be Manhattan or Fitzpatrick (hotel's name!)

ds2- conceived in Luton!

jingleyjen · 24/05/2008 14:42

ds1 - companypicnic
ds2 - newyearseveparty

Cahiciveen Kerry

Lovely names, I think!

thegrowlygus · 24/05/2008 14:31

My friend was always rather horrified by the revelation that she should be "snooker table". I know her parents. You wouldn't know they had it in 'em!

KashaSarrasin · 24/05/2008 14:28

These are great!

DS would be Ibis London Euston. Has a certain ring to it I think...

WinkyWinkola · 24/05/2008 14:26

DS Paris
DD Rome

EyeballsintheSky · 24/05/2008 14:25

Elveden...

S'quite cute, Elvie for short. Beats a lot of the names on the names board!

Rachmumoftwo · 24/05/2008 14:21

How boring that my 2 DDs were conceived at home. If I named them after the places I told DH I was expecting, I'd have a Tussauds and an Almeria for my daughters.
