Help name Georgina’s sister!

Hello everyone,
I have been searching through all the baby books and name lists online and still can’t seem to find one I like as much as Georgina. I was hoping you would be able to provide some ideas.
Georgina goes by Ginny and so the name needs to match both her full name and also the shorter form she gets called day to day.
Thank you!!

Imogen - you can’t have Ginny and Immy though

I’d expect a Georgina (Ginny) to probably have a sister called Victoria (Vita), Harriet (Hattie), Caroline (Caro/Carrie/Callie), Charlotte (Callie/Lottie), Catherine (Kit/Kitty), Josephine (Josie/Posy/Effie), Antonia (Annie/Anya/Nina), Susanna (Sunny/Suki/Susie) or maybe Juliet (Lettie).

Don’t know why but names like those work well together with Georgina to me - possibly it’s that they are mostly traditional feminine versions of classic masculine names too (apart from Catherine and Susanna but they are still very classic).

Wow thank you so much everyone for your suggestions!
I can’t use Alexandra unfortunately due to a close family member being Alexander.
I really like the suggestion of Eleanor and Grace but worry they are a bit popular.
DH really likes Penelope so he was pleased to see lots of you suggested it but I’m not convinced, although not sure why as it’s a pretty name.

Pick up a Brontë or Austen novel and pick any name from there 👍

Wildhorsesdraggedme · 24/06/2025 17:21

I love Emmeline and think it’s perfect to go with Georgia. I also really like a pps suggestion of Millicent with Millie for short, I am biased as a Millie though!
