Trying to think of baby names for second baby! We don't know the sex yet but already have a daughter called Summer. I absolutely love 'Willow' for a girl but just remembered that our family members dog is called willow and I'm gutted! Wondering if anyone can offer an alternative on the same vibe as Summer and Willow. I quite like Meadow but not sure if it's quite right. Also any boys names that would go with Summer as I can't think of one I like yet!
TIA xx

I've always loved Meadow. Although overused, Brooke is lovely. Willow and Brooke sound nice together. Willow and Beck, if you have a boy.

Raine or India for a girl and Asa or Silas for a boy.

We would pick Meadow if we are blessed with another. Gorgeous name but I’m assuming everyone will say “as in Soprano”

I know a little girl called Winter (but it might be to predictable).

How about Sorrel, Ivy, Lillie or Marguerite if you want to stay with nature.

Is it an option to give the name anyway? It’s not inherently a dog’s name, it’s just a name dog happens to have.

Fizzysticks · 22/06/2025 20:46

Willow is such a lovely name, some other you might like are….

Wren, Ivy, Skye, Willa, Seren, Tandie, Alannah or Faye
