Do you know names that sound like Mirko? I really like how easy and modern they sound.

Anka is problematic if your child goes to a school where rhyming slang is in vogue; Marina sounds like a place where you moor your yacht.

I'm half Slav and there are some Slavic names that I just wouldn't give to a child of mine: Bogdan comes to mind.

It does work the other way, however: Hughie sounds quite like the Russian for pr*ck.
