Sibling names for Benjamin

My DS is called Benjamin and while I love his name, I feel like if I pick another traditional name they might end up sounding old fashioned together, if that makes any sense!?

Our favourite girl's name is Sophie but I feel like Ben and Sophie sound a bit 90s together, or am I overthinking? Also love Phoebe, Ivy, Maddie, Amelie, Francesca (Frankie).

Our favourite boy's name is Luca (Luc), but we also like Louis, Reuben and Elliott.

Would love some honest opinions about choosing timeless names that also sound current!

Sophie and Ben is a lovely, timeless combination. Sophie is one of my favourite names ever, so pretty!

Sophie is nice and goes well with Ben imo - you’re overthinking 😊

All of your girls names are good, except you can’t have Frankie and Ben’s (restaurant chain!!).

I would pick Phoebe from your choices as it sounds modern yet traditional.

I adore Ivy but I’m a bit put off by it’s popularity and the number of similar names (Evie / Ava / Eve etc) around atm (might not bother you?)

The two young Bens I know have sisters called Rosie and Jess, which I really like.

Ideas

Ben and

Abbie
Alice
Lucy
Lily
Zoe
Chloe
Grace
Clara
Hazel
Ruby
Iris
Nina

Boys

Luca (Luc) is lovely if you don’t mind popularity (I actually love Luke - it feels solid and less trendy than Luca to me)

Louis is also lovely.

Reuben I wouldn’t use with Ben as one of the Reubens I know goes by Ben!

Elliott is quite nice.

Ideas

Samuel
Thomas
Max
Jake (Jacob)
Zack
Harry
Joseph (Joe / Joey)

I like Ben and Sophie actually! I see what you mean though. I'd probably go for something long that can be shortened (just like Ben), like Elizabeth (Eliza, Lizzy). Madeleine etc. Frederick (Freddie), Thomas for boys.

I have always really liked Libby too, just not a huge fan of Elizabeth. Likewise with Penny/ Penelope.

Like Louis and Elliott with Benjamin. Sophie goes great and still v current. As does Phoebe and Francesca
