I don't think I've heard if echoing around my council estate so I assume it's (as yet) quite unusual? It would make me think of the protestant reformer but then I'm a bit of a history hound. Cal for short is nice.

I like that it’s different but not odd. Like you wouldn’t find lots of Calvins but it also wouldn’t be considered a weird/made-up name. They’re the kind of names I like 😊

References are likely to be Calvin Harris, Calvin Klein or Calvin and Hobbs rather than the protestant reformer. I quite like it.
