Middle name for Daisy

DH and I have just found out we are having a girl. We already had Daisy picked out as a first name, so that’s locked in.

We need help with middle name suggestions though. We would like a short sounding middle name as our surname is double barrelled, but want to avoid ‘Daisy May’ for example.

With that said, my thought is Daisy Love or Daisy Joy

I disagree with your DH. The name Daisy suits a longer middle name. Daisy is a very girly name so I would favour a strong traditional name for the middle name like Elizabeth, Charlotte, Katherine, Victoria.

A short name like Daisy Kate, Daisy Eve, Daisy Lou, Daisy Elle is bordering on Southern Belle / hillbilly like Billy Bob, Peggy Sue and Lilly-May.

Loads of great suggestions! Thank you. Will run them by DH, see what he thinks.

I have a few longer ones I like, Daisy Elizabeth and Daisy Charlotte. But DH is keen on the shorter names.

Why not just have a first name if she’s already double barrelled surname.

All her 3 siblings have middle names. My older sister is 1 of 4 and only one without middle name and it seems to bother her, so I wouldn’t want that.
