Is this TOO old-fashioned?

Is the name 'Christopher' a bit too old-fashioned and Boomer-ish? Generally I like 'classic' names but I guess that some can be a bit much...

It's lovely! A solid classic. Traditional but youthful - please use it! I know one little boy called Christopher and always thought its a nice name.
Also it's not overused so he won't be in a class with loads of other Christophers.

Totally normal name

Mylegishangingoff · 27/03/2025 19:56

I like it. My teenage crush in secondary was a Christopher. I think it's one of those names thats always around and doesn't go in or out of fashion iykwim.

It’s a very normal name, as long as you’re happy with ‘Chris’!

It’s lovely!
I think of Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh

Sounds like a normal name to me. I think I'm generation x. It would also sound like a normal name to a "boomer" I think though, horrifically 😱🙄

I love Christopher and think it's a classic name. We are expecting our third which we have just found out is a girl but had she been a boy she would have been Christopher
