I agree with this. Leah and Lena/Lisa/Lyra sound so similar it would be annoying for them and people will get them mixed up as, particularly if they're close in age. I think a different number of syllables would be helpful.

Also consider if its practical having siblings of the same sex with the same initials. Particularly in terms of practical things like receiving post and the wrong person opening it. I also came across sisters who were doctors who had the same initial so were both Dr A Smith or whatever and worked at the same hospital and it was an unbelievable nightmare.

I think sharing initials can be tricky. We think of our children as sets , but they think of themselves as individuals, and not having your own initial can feel like forced teaming.

I agree to some extent (so I probably shouldn’t have suggested Lara but just couldn’t resist as it’s one of my faves 🤦‍♀️).

But I think as long as the number of syllables is different then it’s not as bad imo. So Leah and Lena is very matchy but Leah and Lydia sound like they could be sisters rather than twins.

ETA: I actually know a Leah and Lily sibset so agree that if you want 2 syllables as well as the same initial, it’s best to vary the ending sound OP.
