Wasn’t that the black lab that was chasing deer and wouldn’t come back on that viral video a few years back?

That was Fenton.

Tube station was my first thought.

Wehavealaughdontwe · 03/03/2025 20:00

It's an area of Newcastle that absolutely nobody wants to be named after

Not very often I have such a strong ‘noooooooo’ reaction. It’s the name of a very undesirable area in the north east. If you live anywhere near Newcastle then avoid at ALL costs!

Exactly what I was coming to say. As far as place names go, not one I'd be choosing.

ThatThisThatYou · 03/03/2025 19:59

Good grief, no.

Kenton Cool is a famous mountain climber/expedition leader of Everest and similar. I'm not sure about it though.

His name always makes me think of toothpaste 😂

Fenton.

Close though!

The Archers

Station on the Bakerloo line.

I don’t mind it though.

Maxorias · 03/03/2025 19:47

Sorry, not keen. Kenneth is okay - though some people say it's dated. But Kenton, no. I do like Leighton fwiw.
