I posted last night about the name Franklin.

Do you prefer Vincent? I heard it today not the nn Vinnie though. I would use Vincent / Vin day to day

I’m not a fan of either, sorry!

I met a Julian recently, I like it much better than Vincent.

I like Franklin and Vincent equally but I would only use either if I liked Frank and Vinnie as the most obvious nn’s (I like both nn’s but it’s a risk to use either name if you don’t).

Vincent is gorgeous.

I really don't like Franklin though.

I know two wonderful Vincents who go by Vincent in full, or versions of their non English names (both from from non UK backgrounds), never Vince or Vinnie. It's a handsome, elegant name. Franklin is to me, both a bit grandiose and a bit silly.

I prefer Vincent

Vincent is nice, and better than Franklin.

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 26/02/2025 21:18

I think Franklin is far nicer and stronger.

DustyLee123 · 26/02/2025 21:17

I prefer Vinny to Vincent
