Middle names for boden?

Thoughts on the name Boden (nick names Bode or Bodie)

And middle names (we like more classical middle names) or ideally a fire and earth name

Surname is Spencer

Oh has Mark come round again as a name? Will we also see a reemergence of other 60/70s baby names like Steve, Lisa and Julie?

I like Bodie, not sure about Boden and prefer Eden as an alternative. Anyway, middle names suggestions:
Boden James
Boden Lee
Boden Blue
Boden cruise
Boden Brady

“ Boden bunch” was the nickname for group of mums who were all in the PTA and went to yoga together at drop-off (in my DCs primary school) Very Amandaland.

I'm guessing Boden Cruise was when they all went on holiday.

The name is Scandinavian and possibly from Old Norse, so if you want a fire name, why not one of the Norse deities? I'd say Lopt, also known as Loki, often associated with fire. It's said that a thunderstorm is Thor and Loki going for a walk- Thor does the thunder and Loki does the lightning :)

Tyr is another Norse deity that I've heard for children now (my husband is a primary school teacher; I see the names when he's marking books!) so it wouldn't be unheard of to do this. Be aware that Loki is more recently called the god of mischief, though, thanks to Marvel! Tyr is who Tuesday is named for.

Re the short name version of Boden; you won't be able to control what others shorten it to really. Other children might call him Bod, Bo, Odie and Odin. Are you OK with those too? I mean, I would be ok but it's what you have to bear in mind, what other children might do.

I don’t understand why it matters it’s a clothes shop, it’s not a horrible association is it?

I personally think with some of the names I’ve heard in the past 5 years, Boden is quite nice and definitely won’t get bullied like some posters are suggesting.

I would probably go with quite a common middle name, such as Boden James or Boden Oliver

Believe it or not, there's many areas where people won't even have heard of Boden the shop, let alone seen one or bought anything from there.

Perhaps the OP lives somewhere like that and just thinks it's a nice name.

Boden Magma? That's quite distinctive.
