Middle names for boden?

Thoughts on the name Boden (nick names Bode or Bodie)

And middle names (we like more classical middle names) or ideally a fire and earth name

Zara is a normal established name and the shop is relatively new to the U.K., as far as I'm aware Boden isn't a persons name.

You can't seriously be calling a poor child after a clothing brand?

If you are going to do this, contact the company and ask if they'll sponsor you to call the kid this - at least you'll get some money for him/her to compensate for his humilation. If you stick it in a high interest deposit account, could even pay for university education in 18 years.

Boden is a tough sell in the UK. Zara is different as the name was well known (via Princess Anne’s daughter and as an Arabic name) before the shop came here.

Bowen instead? It’s a surname too but at least he’s less likely to get jokes made. And the nickname Bowie is pretty cool…

But otherwise as others suggest, I’d stick with Bodhi - the name is fairly well known and also seems to be slowly rising in popularity now, plus you were planning on using a spelling variant for the Boden nn anyway.

Mark is nice, I'm glad if that's coming round again.

Boden stands out as something unusual, classic. But 'older fashion' names would stand out too; Mark, Gordon, Charles, Tony, James...
